Over the past few months, the Insightrix MROC (Market Research Online Community) software has seen some key UI/UX upgrades, exciting brand-new features, and some performance upgrades to some key functions of the software.
WCAG Level A & AA Compliance
The developers at Insightrix Communities are working towards making the MROC software WCAG 2.1, Level A and AA compliant, and guess what: they’re almost there! WCAG stands for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The main goal of WCAG is to have a single standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of companies worldwide.
UI/UX Enhancements
As for UI/UX changes, the developers have completed many items in the Insightrix Software Road Map (SRM) over the past couple months. With issues such as the user homepage being changed, enhancements to navigation, modifications to checkboxes, and administration side changes to the Styles and Content pages, the developers have been building modern user interfaces which are easy for everyone to use.
Faster Processes
Everyone knows that performance is key to… pretty much anything! Developers have been working hard on making time-intensive tasks faster. They have sped up different administration functionalities within the software by 15-30x what it used to be and are continuing to improve more functionalities every day.
Notification Bell
Weren’t aware of a new newsletter that came out yesterday? Didn’t know you had to complete a survey, or that someone replied to your discussion post? Well, now you have notifications to inform you! The new notification bell was introduced last month, in Version 3.5.2. The notification bell alerts users of any new survey, discussion, or newsletter invites. Gone are the times of forgetting that someone replied to your discussion post, or that you have not yet completed that survey!
Enhancements to Multilingual Support
Since the software offers multilingual support, we also needed the option for administrators of the software to tailor the display of pages based on the language they were set up for. This capability was introduced last month in Version 3.5. Now, pages displaying English text only display to English users, pages displaying French text only display to French users, and so on.
The work never stops here at Insightrix. We continuously release exciting new features, performance upgrades, UI/UX changes, and much more! Stay tuned!
